You see a number of informational sites directed at the younger age student but rarely do you see a web site directed for the older surfer, ("middle age") who find ourselves returning to education, after a number of years. This informational site is dedicated to those courageous people, who have decided to return to school to broaden their experience and prepare themselves for the world and careers of the 21st century.
Please look at this site as a haven for you to discuss your interests and ideas. This simple page is just a beginning so contribute your ideas and we will grow to reflect your needs. I hope to hear from you soon.

Feel free to write. I am the original Sci-fi geek. Though I enjoy some modern Sci-Fi shows, (Lexx and Farscape), I am deeply into the black-and white genre of sci-fi classics. Give me a huminoid in a metallic suit with giant amulets and I'm a watcher.
I can't get enough of 50s sci-fi monsters; ants, grasshoppers and 50 ft women. I find that the cheesier the monster the better. Today's sci-fi movies are too graphic to be enjoyable. Sci-fi is escapism. Today's movies are depressing with all of their gore. What do you think?

Hobbies are like children they are expensive but its gratifying when one turns out right. I am into gardening. At this time, my wife and I are putting two ponds into the back yard, by hand. Others in my family think I'm insane. repeatedly, I have been asked why I don't simply pay to have the garden landscaped.
I must admit that I have asked myself this same question, whenever, we experience a set-back or disappointment.But I find that satisfaction is like wine, for it gets richer over time. How satisfying it is to look out from my window and see the beauties of the garden before me and knowing the emptiness that existed before.
Hobbies are for fun and I am having the most fun in years, simply working in my garden. If you have a garden tip or can provide me with an interesting website, please e-mail me.

Today, we do not measure time in days or weeks, but in minutes and seconds. How often we find ourselves talking at each other rather then to each other. This site is for those people who really want to talk to other people. Through discussion on multiple topics, this website can become a forum where new ideas can be expressed and explored.

After what I wrote, about my gardening hobby, and the two ponds I am building, you probably thought that the peaceful steam that appears above is an actual photo, from my garden. I regret that this is not so.
At this time, my backyard is a black hole of rocks and confusion. The fellow who supplies me with top soil recently sent me his oldest child's graduation notice, from college, with a thank you, for my contribution. He also told me that he has another child entering college next September and was curious as to my gardening plans next year.
In response, all I could say was "We will see!"
